A well-rounded class for sincere practitioners seeking inner stillness, expanded awareness, and greater self-mastery. Rooted in a balanced practice of physical postures (asanas), this class supports the development of strength, flexibility, and balance—not only in the body, but in daily life as well.

Guided by the teachings and deeper purpose of Yoga, we cultivate awareness beyond the physical practice, creating space for a more meaningful connection to the essence of our being. All levels are welcome, though some familiarity with the Integral Yoga sequence is helpful.

Muktidevi Kristine Demafeliz, E-RYT 200, RYT 500, is a passionate and dedicated yoga practitioner and teacher. Born and raised in San Francisco, Muktidevi has been embracing the practice of yoga for nearly two decades. Her journey into yoga began with the guidance of her mentor, Tony Garcia, through the SFO Airport’s Wellness Program in 2012. Tony encouraged her to pursue yoga teacher training, which she completed in the Integral Yoga® tradition. She holds certifications in Basic Hatha I, Intermediate Hatha II, Accessible Yoga (Gentle), and Mindful Resilience Training through the Veterans Yoga Project, enabling her to teach trauma-informed yoga. Recently, she graduated from Meditation Teacher Training. Her passion for continuous learning drives her to pursue further training, such as Yoga For First Responders, which aligns with her role as the Wellness Program Coordinator for the San Francisco Police Department. Muktidevi mentors and supports teacher trainees and newly certified teachers, helping them grow and develop on their yogic path. Yoga has profoundly impacted and transformed her life, and she genuinely believes it is a saving grace for all. Despite living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for 28 years, Muktidevi continues to utilize the mindfulness practices to navigate through life’s challenges and adversities.

For students interested in the traditional yoga class. A comprehensive, balanced class with a steady flow, relaxation between poses, and guided instruction throughout. First-time students are welcome.

Tony Speciale – RYT 200 – E-RYT 200 Tony holds an MFA in Directing from Columbia University and studied musical theatre at the Boston Conservatory. A queer theatre director and devoted dog dad, he brings curiosity, steadiness, and care into the teaching space. He began his yoga practice 25 years ago through Bikram Yoga and remains grateful for the discipline and clarity of the 26 & 2 sequence. Over time, however, he sought a non-striving practice emphasizing prāṇāyāma, deep relaxation, and self-inquiry. Through Integral Yoga Institute San Francisco (IYISF), Tony discovered a holistic approach and received his RYT 200 and E-RYT 200 certifications in 2023. His teaching emphasizes accessibility, clear sequencing, and mindful pacing, inviting students to listen to the body’s inner wisdom rather than push past limits. He is especially passionate about supporting beginners, returning students, and those seeking a grounded, inclusive practice. When not practicing or teaching yoga, Tony works with the next generation of theatre artists at SUNY New Paltz, where he integrates yoga and mindfulness into his pedagogy. He is currently in intermediate teacher training with IYISF, working toward his RYT 300 / E-RYT 300 certification and sharing yoga as a practical tool for cultivating awareness, ease, and connection—on and off the mat.

Explore the timeless practice of self-inquiry through a guided meditation inspired by Jnana Yoga, the path of wisdom and Self-realization. Using the contemplative question, “Who am I?”, we gently turn our attention away from thoughts, roles, and identities toward the silent awareness that underlies all experience. Rooted in the teachings of the Upanishads, the wisdom of Ramana Maharshi, and Swami Sivananda’s approach to Jnana Yoga meditation, this practice invites you to expand your awareness and rest in the Heart—the source of pure Being—and experience the peace, clarity, and unity that emerge when the mind becomes still.

Diana Meltsner, C-IAYT, ERYT-500, YACEP, has been teaching Yoga since 2001 and offering yoga therapy privately and at the Integral Yoga Therapy Clinic in San Francisco since 2017. Diana helps her clients move through life with greater ease, stress resilience, and intuitive awareness.

She has more than 15 years of experience certifying teachers through Yoga and Meditation teacher trainings and has worked as a Yoga teacher, yoga therapist, and health educator at Kaiser Permanente since 2005. She currently serves as Programs Manager at Integral Yoga Institute in San Francisco.

Over the course of her teaching career, Diana has developed a deep interest in the intersection of contemplative practice, science, spirituality, and prayer. Her work is informed by ongoing study of neuropsychology and human physiology, as well as contemplative traditions beyond her strong Yogic foundation, including Christian mysticism and Dzogchen Tibetan Buddhism. She is particularly drawn to interfaith dialogue and exploring the shared wisdom, devotional heart, and experiential ground found across spiritual traditions. www.dianameltsner.com
