Raas Leela Kirtana’s NorCal Fall Tour 2026 brings a series of sacred musical gatherings to Integral Yoga Institute, as well as yoga studios, spiritual centers, wellness spaces, and conscious communities throughout Central and Northern California.

Raas Leela Kirtana is an LA-based devotional ensemble offering immersive Kirtan experiences rooted in the Bhakti Yoga tradition.

Blending traditional mantras, bhajans, sacred chants, and contemporary musical arrangements, Raas Leela Kirtana creates participatory experiences that invite everyone to sing, connect, meditate, and open the heart through the transformative power of sacred sound.

Whether experiencing Kirtan for the first time or already familiar with the tradition, everyone is welcome.


Raas Leela Kirtana is a Los Angeles-based devotional ensemble dedicated to sharing the transformative experience of Kirtan and Sankirtan—the collective singing of sacred names and mantras. Rooted in the Bhakti Yoga tradition, the group brings together traditional bhajans, mantras, and sacred chants with contemporary musical arrangements and an accessible, heart-centered approach.
Their performances are immersive and participatory, inviting audiences to move beyond simply listening and become part of the experience through call-and-response chanting, meditation, devotion, and collective musical expression. Whether someone is deeply familiar with Kirtan or experiencing it for the first time, Raas Leela Kirtana creates a welcoming space for connection, joy, inner stillness, and the transformative power of sacred sound.
The ensemble is led by founder Gopala Bhakta and is based in Los Angeles.

Music and Poetry of South Asian Mystics: an exploration of Sufi songs.

We are sharing our own experience with Sufism through singing, music and poetry. Audience is encouraged to sing along with us, we will provide lyrics with English translations.
Historically, in South Asia, Sufism played a huge role in inter-faith syncretism and Sufi shrines (dargahs) have been pivotal to communal harmony.

Manose, Nepal’s first Grammy nominated multi instrumentalist & composer, has been touring for more than two decades. Spreading the power of healing music, he has won millions of hearts all over the world.
His interest in flute was ignited at the age of 8 when he heard the mesmerizing flute tune coming through his window. Soon, his music lessons started after being initiated by a shenai player Madan Dev Bhatta, a disciple of Ustad Bismillah Khan. He learned classical raga music that still influences his work with devotional touches from both Hinduism and Buddhism.
His offering of 111 days of free daily meditations on his social media became a lifeline for many during the COVID pandemic.

Joanna Manqueros and Gurdeep Singh Hira will present an evening of Bhakti Yoga and Sufi Kirtan. The call and response tradition allows us to open our hearts together. In Nada Yoga, we practice with sound, using the ancient art of kirtan. Join us for a night of music for the soul, in the traditional style of harmonium and tabla. The evening brings Sufi music into this tradition, and the music can be quite rhythmic.

Joanna Manqueros plays harmonium and sings with the kirtan ensemble Rasa Lila. Joanna hosts Music of the World on KPFA. She has studied with Rita Sahai, Jaipur Uttal and currently with Sukhawat Ali Khan. Joanna teaches Yoga for Trauma recovery and feels Kirtan is a powerful way to heal, connecting the voice with others.

Gurdeep Singh Hira is known in the Bay Area as the tabla player with the best beats. Gurdeep performs in the great traditions of devotional music, Kirtans, Sikh, Sufi, Jain and classical. Gurdeep has the beats.
