The fact that grief is a normal reaction to loss doesn’t make it any easier to go through. Even though it is thought to be mostly emotional, grief also presents specific physical and spiritual symptoms. Yoga for Grief Relief is a somatic psychotherapeutic protocol using Yoga techniques to address the physical, mental and spiritual symptoms of grief towards the re-identification process that follows an important loss.

This combination of theoretical lecture and experiential work can help the heart of anyone who is grieving a loss or those working with them.

The physical, mental, and spiritual release that doing the practice provides truly does help your body pain decrease, your mental fog lift, your engagement with life return, and eventually you begin to “ring the bells that still will ring.”~ Jessica Bell

Integral Yoga Therapy Clinic Presents the Healing Power of Yoga Nidra

You can access a profound state of awareness and activate your capacity to heal the mind, body and spirit.
Yoga Nidra reboots the nervous system by evoking one’s natural state of “relax and restore,” formally known as the Parasympathetic Nervous System. Some of the benefits of the practice include slowing heart rate, dampening of the “fight or flight” hormones, a deep sense of rest, and improved sleep. In the state of Yoga Nidra, the body can do what it is wired to do: rejuvenate, repair and revitalize at a cellular and energetic level.

Learn more and treat yourself to the relaxing Healing Power of Yoga Nidra, Sun. January 15 @ 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm PST

3 Keys to Move Beyond Body Pain

$30 | ONLINE & IN-PERSON

Are you ready to TRANSFORM YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO PAIN?

What you will learn:

  • Your body knows
  • Your body is not betraying you, it’s trying to get your attention
  • Your body pain is pointing you towards what it needs in order to heal
  • How to unwind patterns of pain so that you can gain relief and comfort in your body
  • Re pattern dysfunctional patterns so that you have confidence in your body
  • Strengthen the patterns that work so that you can build resiliency and stay out of pain

You can begin to release the pain from not just your physical body, but from your spiritual body, from your heart, from your mind, so that you can reclaim this sacred body temple that is yours.

My name is Padma Borrego, C-IAYT. I have a long history of working with bodies and people though bodywork, yoga and energy healing. I have spent most of my life deepening my relationship with my body. What began as an injury and pain has transformed into the bigger conversation about what my body, my heart and my spirit needed to grow. Stepping more into these conversations in my physical body has balanced the desires in my outer life and voice in my soul. I am a certified yoga instructor/therapist, structural integrator (Rolfer), and energy healer with hands-on learning from my teachers and my clients for over 25 years.
