Integral Yoga Therapy Clinic presents:

Recovering From COVID-19 and Other Illnesses: The Path to Healing with Susan Ford

In these turbulent times, we will explore a path of healing as not linear, but one of surrender, letting go, and finding new ways of approaching life. As we learn to listen to the various rhythms and messages of the body, we can begin to meet our body where it is—allowing ourselves to rest, eat well, sleep better, strengthen our immune system, and continue to build our prana (vital energy), all at a slower pace. Gentle yoga can bring more fluidity to our body through simple stretching and strengthening along with lessening stress and pain.

In this workshop we will share and practice. We will explore our breath and body with a gentle accessible chair yoga that can be adapted for the bed. We will include a yoga therapy approach to asana, deep relaxation, guided meditation, chanting. There will be a writing practice (for your own use) as a way to find a gentle, creative, and wise approach to healing while deepening our understanding of recovering from COVID-19 and living with acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.

We will begin to weave together the beginning of a home practice of self-care and explore what healing means to each of us.

Open to All! No yoga or writing experience needed. Caregivers are welcome

Susan will be offering a 6 week series beginning mid September. Details coming soon.
