Sadness is a passive, dysphoric emotion that drains energy, disarms us, and inhibits action. However, on a deeper level, it serves as a signal—either to ourselves or to others—that we need support or comfort. It also prompts healing: only when we allow ourselves to feel sadness for our actions can we genuinely begin to repair the situation or restore the relationships affected.
Yoga Therapy Tools to Manage and Regulate Sadness offers practical, body-centered techniques to help you meet this emotion with compassion and awareness. Through guided self inquiry, breathwork, mindful movement, and grounding practices, you’ll learn to work with sadness—not suppress it—creating space for healing, emotional regulation, and resilience. This guide supports your journey back to balance, helping you reconnect with your inner resources in a safe, embodied way.
