The yamas and niyamas are yoga’s ethical guidelines laid out in the first two limbs of Patanjali’s eightfold path. They’re like a map written to guide you on your life’s journey and help to purify and calm the mind. Simply put, the yamas are things not to do, or restraints, while the niyamas are things to do, or observances. These virtues can expand our relationship with ourselves, our communities & our planet.
Each week, we’ll delve into these sutras, allowing their wisdom to permeate your understanding. Remember, your unique perspective shapes your interpretation, making this a personalized journey of self-discovery. We’ll learn from each other’s insights as we collectively explore new facets of ourselves and cultivate inner peace.
No prior knowledge or having your own book is required, just an open mind and a willingness to embark on a journey of inner exploration. All are welcome.

This process allows her to apply yogic principles in her client sessions as a way to support and help clients reconnect to their True North.
