Faith and Prayer, Part 1

ONLINE | $15 each workshop | Please register in advance, a Zoom link and passcode will be provided via confirmation email.

Part 1 – Sunday, OCT 23, 11:30 am- 12:30pm PT:

“More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of” – Alfred Lord Tennyson. Sri Gurudev quoted this often while reminding us that there are “invisible hands” ready and waiting to come to our assistance. He also referred to the bhakti practices as the “shortcut” to lasting Peace.
Prayer requires the same kind of effort and discipline as our Japa or pranayama – and in this workshop
we will explore the different forms that prayer can take and how to cultivate a prayer practice.

Part 2 – Sunday, OCT 30, 11:30 am- 12:30pm PT:

Faith is hard to come by in a world gone mad … but it is the need of the hour. Faith in ourselves, faith in our path and our practice, faith in the enlightened souls who have shown us the way, and faith in the human capacity to transform and transcend. In this workshop we will explore how to develop our faith from a tiny spark to a steady presence of light and peace.
