Join Karla for an afternoon of exploration and journey through your chakras based on her most recent book The Chakras in Grief & Trauma.
In this program, you will:
Be introduced to the yogic system of the koshas and how the energy of the chakras support you toward wholeness and balanceExplore your chakras and how they function to support us through emotional and physical stressExperience your chakra system through guided meditation and visualizationExpress encounters with your sacred centers through mandala creationPractice grounding techniques, gentle movement asana (postures), mudras (sacred hand gestures), and pranayama (breathwork) to balance and support the chakras and increase the life force, prana, in your system
4 hours of CE certificate provided by the presenter upon request (30 min break is part of this offering)
Karla Helbert, LPC, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500 is a licensed professional counselor, yoga therapist, award-winning author, and bereaved mother. Her life was forever changed after her son died of a brain tumor in 2006. Karla’s book Yoga for Grief and Loss is endorsed and used as a teaching tool by leaders, teachers and experts in the fields of yoga, grief and loss. Her most recent book The Chakras in Grief and Trauma is currently the only book focusing on the ways our energetic bodies are impacted by trauma and grief. She lives in Richmond Virginia with her husband and daughter.
