Try a simplicity day. Speak only when necessary – which isn’t much. Eat only fruit or vegetables. Fast from social media. Spend time in the healing silence of meditation or in nature, or both.
There’s a benefit to affirming clearly and simply, on a daily basis, your intentions for living a spiritual life. Here is mine: Let me be always aware of peace within and free of longing for anything outside, so that I can serve as an instrument of compassion and courage, be humble and mindful in all I do, and enjoy all that comes and goes.
