Our Earth nurtures and supports us every day. Please come join us in an Earth Day celebration of gratitude for all that she provides us. At this gathering, we offer the opportunity to reciprocate her support and love. Indigenous Spiritual Counselor Yvonne Velasco Brock will lead an invocation of the teachings of The Cardinal Directions Blessing based on Indigenous wisdom ~ a sharing of how we are all connected to each other, Mother Earth and all of nature, so we may come into right relation with all. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss and share in ways to protect our Earth and all its inhabitants during this time of great crisis, followed by a classical Indian dance performance celebrating the divine spirit of spring. The dancers will also teach us the traditional dancers’ prayer to Mother Earth, and Swami Ramananda will perform a brief puja and make offerings of gratitude in her honor.
