BIPOC Scholarship Fund – Ongoing

We all have the power to make a positive change in the lives of others. Your generosity brings together people of all races, faiths, and political views. Your donations directly supports these ongoing efforts:

  1. Expanding and sustaining free Spanish Yoga classes in the Mission.
  2. Expanding and sustaining our BIPOC Yoga Teacher Training Scholarship Fund via GoFundMe.

We recognize the structural and institutional racism in Yoga and wellness communities, and acknowledge the lack of diverse representation in ourYoga classes. We believe that by encouraging a diverse range of teaching voices, we can create safe spaces where all students can feel represented and welcomed promoting the creation of a more inclusive Yoga community. Your support makes Yoga Teacher Training Scholarship Fund for BIPOC and other trainings financially accessible. Thank you.

Update – The Yogic Wisdom Campaign

Deep thanks to everyone that donated during our recent Yogic Wisdom Campaign, created in honor of Ramananda’s 70th year of life. Our goal was to raise $70,000 in order to support his shift away from administrative tasks and towards more writing, teaching and sharing his Yogic Wisdom with a wider audience, transforming lives through Yoga.

We received multiple generous matching donation challenges  that were met and the birthday fundraiser Raffle raised $1672.00! In total, we raised $68,700 of the $70k goal and are immensely grateful to all of you. Thank you.

The GoFundme page will remain live for a time for anyone who may still want to contribute. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.
