We all need an occasional break to restore and refresh our body\, mind and spirit – especially now with the world in such an unsettled state.\nThis will be a rare experience with our two senior swamis\, Swami Asokananda and Swami Ramananda\, along with Ram Wiener\, guiding the week’s experience.\nYou will stay at a beautiful hotel and retreat center\, Villa Sumaya\, situated on the picturesque shore of Lake Atitlan. It has an uninterrupted vista\, punctuated only by a skyline of three perfect volcanoes. Here\, you can relax and experience an ideal place for people in search of rest\, reflection\, good company\, and ageless natural beauty. This beautiful retreat complex has very comfortable rooms and bungalows\, lovely gardens\, a restaurant\, and stunning locations to practice our meditation\, hatha yoga\, and spiritual study.\nThe restaurant\, with a stunning view of the lake\, offers a culinary-conscious menu for vegetarians. His teaching comes out of his own practice and experience while absorbing the wisdom of his Guru\, Sri Swami Satchidananda. \nWhile he enjoys sharing the practical wisdom of yogic philosophy (especially the great Indian scripture\, the Bhagavad Gita)\, he also loves his practice of Hatha Yoga. He is one of Yogaville’s primary instructors for Intermediate and Advanced Hatha Yoga Teacher Trainings. \nHe presently serves as president of the IY Institute in New York City. Before this position\, he served as the President of Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville and Integral Yoga International. \nSwami Ramananda\, C-IAYT\, E-RYT 500\, is the Executive Director of the Integral Yoga Institute in San Francisco\, C-IAYT\, and a greatly respected senior teacher in the Integral Yoga tradition who has been practicing Yoga for over 45 years. Swami Ramananda will join the final week of sessions.\nWhether you’re looking to develop\, deepen\, or jumpstart your meditation practice\, this 3-week challenge offers a structured and supportive environment to explore the benefits of daily meditation. Practicing consistently can help reduce stress and deepen self-awareness. It becomes a mini-retreat where we connect with the inner calm\, feeling wholeness and contentment of simply being.
