A comprehensive\, balanced class with a steady flow\, relaxation between poses\, and guided instruction throughout. First-time students are welcome.\nTony Speciale – RYT 200 – E-RYT 200 Tony holds an MFA in Directing from Columbia University and studied musical theatre at the Boston Conservatory. A queer theatre director and devoted dog dad\, he brings curiosity\, steadiness\, and care into the teaching space. He began his yoga practice 25 years ago through Bikram Yoga and remains grateful for the discipline and clarity of the 26 & 2 sequence. Over time\, however\, he sought a non-striving practice emphasizing prāṇāyāma\, deep relaxation\, and self-inquiry. Through Integral Yoga Institute San Francisco (IYISF)\, Tony discovered a holistic approach and received his RYT 200 and E-RYT 200 certifications in 2023. His teaching emphasizes accessibility\, clear sequencing\, and mindful pacing\, inviting students to listen to the body’s inner wisdom rather than push past limits. He is especially passionate about supporting beginners\, returning students\, and those seeking a grounded\, inclusive practice. When not practicing or teaching yoga\, Tony works with the next generation of theatre artists at SUNY New Paltz\, where he integrates yoga and mindfulness into his pedagogy. He is currently in intermediate teacher training with IYISF\, working toward his RYT 300 / E-RYT 300 certification and sharing yoga as a practical tool for cultivating awareness\, ease\, and connection—on and off the mat. \n\nView Weekend Schedule –PDF \nEnjoy a Weekend Pass; make one payment and access ALL sessions throughout the weekend! Thank you. \nWhile most of us experience ourselves to be the body\, mind\, and individual ego\, Jnana Yoga reveals that this perception is inaccurate. We are the owner of the body\, mind\, and ego. The path of Jnana Yoga utilizes our clear\, awakened intelligence to dis-cover the Owner—the True Self.\nIn this workshop\, we will explore:\n· Transcending our self-limiting beliefs through Jnana Yoga.\n· Making the present moment as an ally on the spiritual path.\n· Practical methods for establishing a Jnana Yoga practice.\nJoin Swami Asokananda for this soul-nourishing experience.\nSwami Asokananda\, a monk since 1973\, is one of Integral Yoga’s foremost teachers\, known for his warmth\, intelligence\, and good humor. His teaching comes out of his own practice and experience\, since he has absorbed the wisdom of his guru\, Sri Swami Satchidananda\, since the age of 19. While he enjoys sharing the practical wisdom of the Yogic philosophy (especially that of the great Indian scripture the Bhagavad Gita)\, he also loves his practice of Hatha Yoga and is one of our primary instructors for Intermediate and Advanced Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. In the past\, he has served as the president of Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville® and Integral Yoga® International; he is currently the President of the New York Integral Yoga Institute. \n\nView Weekend Schedule –PDF \nEnjoy a Weekend Pass; make one payment and access ALL sessions throughout the weekend! The Yoga Sutras offer a practical roadmap for cultivating mental clarity\, emotional balance\, and spiritual insight through the practice of Yoga as a way of life.\nAs we engage with these teachings\, we begin to free the mind from ingrained habits\, conditioned patterns\, and unconscious tendencies that can limit our growth. Like a seed that must first take root in the earth before it can blossom\, the journey inward allows us to awaken to a deeper understanding of ourselves. The practice of nirodha—the calming of the mind’s fluctuations—reconnects us with the peace\, wisdom\, and wholeness at the heart of our being and lays out a path toward inner freedom.\nRev. Kalyani Carlee Cohen Barr first found herself at the Integral Yoga Institute (IYI) in 2001 and began teaching Hatha Yoga\, Pranayama and meditation in 2005 after receiving her certification with Swami Ramananda at IYI Bacalar\, Mexico. Kalyani has attended numerous workshops and trainings over the years\, including Pranayama with Margabandhu Marturano (IYINJ) and Richard Miller (iRest)\, Meditation\, Mantra\, Mudras\, Anusara Yoga\, Yoga Therapy in Cancer and Chronic Illness (YCAT)\, Yoga for the Special Child (IYINY)\, The Bhagavad Gita with Rev. Jaganath Carrera (YLS)\, Intermediate TT (IYISF)\, and is certified in Raja Yoga (IYISF). She is now an ordained Minister in the Yoga Life Ministry (2026). Kalyani has led classes and small group sessions for musicians of all ages at Interplay Jazz Camp in Vermont\, has co-lead a retreat in Northern India\, has led “Yoga Day” classes for 150 students\, and has appeared on Canadian public television. She co-founded Simply Yoga in South Florida in 2006. Kalyani now holds the position of Teacher Coordinator and assistant teacher trainer at IYISF. The name Kalyani is a spiritual name given to Carlee by Swami Ramananda which signifies a state of auspiciousness\, recognizing blessings\, and Being in bliss\, which she brings into her classes\, along with weaving Raja Yoga into the practices and into life. “Yoga is a sacred path to inner peace\, radiant health\, and deep joy. It has touched and transformed me on every level and my greatest honor is sharing this gift with others.” Join Kalyani to reconnect with your breath\, find your balance\, and experience greate \nSwami Ramananda\, C-IAYT\, E-RYT 500\, is the Executive Director of the Integral Yoga Institute in San Francisco\, C-IAYT\, and a greatly respected senior teacher in the Integral Yoga tradition who has been practicing Yoga for over 45 years.
