Yoga and Sound Immersion: Practices to promote a Calm Wakefulness
with Claudia Bartsch and Minna Sivola

Quarterly: Sundays | 4:30pm – 7:00pm

As our external world becomes increasingly more complex and challenging, many of us are left behind feeling overwhelmed, depressed or anxious. Slowing down and supporting ourselves is now more important than ever. Only with a calm and strong sense of Self will be able to remain wakeful towards the demands of the external world.

This workshop offers you the opportunity to relax deeply and to reconnect with yourself. You will learn concrete tools with which you can encounter the intensity of daily living with more equanimity. Breath-work will enable you to actively sooth your nervous system. Chanting and simple vocal exercises will help to balance emotions and improve concentration. Restorative yoga postures, body/energy work and sound vibration of multiple instruments will support your body to release deeply held tension and increase your body’s innate capacity to reorganize and heal itself. This practice will gradually build your ability to acknowledge life as is, both on a personal and universal level.

*Please arrive 10 minutes early to give yourself time to settle in. You do not need to bring your yoga mat.
