Come practice yoga with your baby. We’ll focus on how yoga can support you during your first months together. Yoga poses, breathing, and relaxation techniques can help you to increase your physical, mental and spiritual strength to stay centered and open during this time of new beginnings and challenges.
If you are new to yoga, the class will provide a low key introduction. Each student can set their own pace and we will adapt poses to suit your individual needs. If you are a more experienced practitioner of yoga, this will be an opportunity to explore your practice in new ways and discover how to incorporate yoga into life with your baby.
We will explore baby massage, movement, games and songs that encourage neuro-muscular development in your baby and discuss basic milestones of early infancy development.
We will also spend time strengthening and toning your body with emphasis on support for feeding, lifting, holding and carrying a baby with optimal posture and nurturing postnatal recovery. Join other parents who are on the same path in a supportive environment.
