Family Yoga with Annie Pearson

Adults and little people gathered together to share in the fun and relaxation of yoga. We’ll explore practices that we can do together to help build strong family connections. The recommended ages for children are ages 4 – 10, but everyone is welcome.
Annie Pearson has been practicing and teaching yoga for over ten years. Her yoga journey started when she was living in Brooklyn, New York and has stayed with her through four cross-country moves (Minneapolis, Florida, Seattle and now she is happy to call the Bay Area home). Having her two children gave her the opportunity to experience pre-natal yoga and mom and baby post-natal yoga but as her children grew she was inspired to find a way to continue to share the benefits of yoga with her family. She received her certification to teach kids and family yoga through Next Generation Yoga and has found what makes her heart sing. Annie brings a light-hearted and playful approach to her classes and aims to create a nurturing environment that focuses on kindness and peace. Her kids and family classes combine traditional yoga poses, breathing, and meditation, with creative movement, music, props, games, and crafts, all in an age-appropriate, fun, and joyful class. In addition to teaching yoga, Annie is a parent-teacher at her daughter’s co-op preschool and a reading coach at her son’s elementary school.
